About

"Cor meum tibi offero, Domine, prompte et sincere."  This was John Calvin's motto.  In English, "My heart I offer, Lord, promptly and sincerely."  The Genevois Reformer sought to glorify God in all that he did.


I chose this for the title of my blog because it is both a goal and a prayer for me.  The posts in this blog will relate my experience in seminary, my experience in preparation for the ministry, theological reflections, and the odd book review.  In all of it, though, I hope it will live up to the title of the blog.
